2022 Goals & Objectives
The NEBCO Board will develop and vote on a list of goals annually. The list below represents key objectives and goals for the remainder of the 2022 calendar year.

Take delivery of a new ambulance & replace vehicle #861

Begin conversion of the 2014 Dodge Ram ambulance to a brush truck after vehicle #861 is moved to a reserve status - pending finances for remainder of fiscal year.

Implement a volunteer firefighting recruiting program - adding at least 2 NEW volunteer firefighters.

Prepare a formal succession plan for the Chief position.

Increase second ambulance operation from 4 days/week to 24/7, so that 3rd party calls are limited to no more than 1 per month.

Complete Board Director training by Fall 2022.

Offer at least 4 educational opportunities to the community in 2022. Those classes may consist of CPR, Fire extinguisher use & safety, Demo Day, Smoke Detectors, etc. Recommended one per quarter.

Revive fundraising activities as pandemic restrictions ease. Fundraisers would include the Chili Cookoff, the Fall Festival, Memorial Day Breakfast, and other raffles & events.

Develop a formal "New Board Member Orientation" program for board members joining NEBCO in April 2022, including a tour of all fire stations. (Tour tentatively scheduled for 5/14/2022)

Initiate development of a personnel manual.

Update NEBCO website by June 1, 2022. Research and begin targeting other social media platforms that are viable for NEBCO to use by September 1, 2022.
